Varian Ang- jailed again for underage sex

A TEENAGE girl lost a dare and had to give a man a kiss. But after the smack on the lips, the man took it further, meeting her in a toilet near a condominium pool, where they then had sex.

personal view - i feel that the man should had been for severely punish for taking advantage. But the girl should also be smart enough not to follow him into the toilet knowing that a bad outcome will happen

Varian Ang - NSF man fined $6,000 for molesting woman and teenage girl

A full-time national serviceman was fined a total of $6,000 on Thursday for touching the buttocks of a woman and a teenage girl.
Xu Zhengxiong, 21, pleaded guilty to the two offences which took place at HDB blocks in Punggol in July and September last year.A district court heard that a 41-year-old woman was outside her unit along the common corridor at about 10pm on July 5 when Xu came from behind and squeezed her left buttocks.Shocked, she turned around and saw Xu standing behind her. She shouted for help and alerted her husband who gave chase but lost Xu who fled down the stairs.On Sept 3, he struck again. He trailed a 14-year-old girl who was walking home near Punggol Plaza. When the girl reached her block and pressed the lift button, Xu followed her.As she entered the lift, she suddenly felt someone touching her buttocks. Xu immediately retracted his hand and walked away briskly when she turned around. She went home and called the police. The court heard that on both occasions, Xu had worn a cap. Xu was arrested the next day by a police ambush party. A third similar charge was taken into consideration. Xu could have been jailed for up to two years or fined or caned or received any two such punishments for each outrage of modesty charge.



personal view - i personally think that that man should receive a more servere punishment.

Varian Ang -Driving while on the phone is illegal but what about... Eating? Shaving? Kissing?

Keeping both hands on the wheel, or eyes on the road, while driving is not a common practice among motorists here, given that many tend to eat, smoke or apply make-up at the same time. While it is clearly illegal to use a mobile phone while driving, the law does not specifically forbid other activities, such as eating or shaving, while driving.The Sunday Times found that almost every driver had engaged in distracting activities while navigating the roads, ranging from reading to having a morning shave.

personal view: i think that such activity should not be done while criving even though they are in a rush. it is dangerous to leave both hands off the wheel

Varian Ang- Every dog as its day - even ugly ones

GUS the dog has three legs, one eye and no hair, except for a white tuft on the top of its head and its a real winner.The pedigree Chinese crested won the World's Ugliest Dog contest on saturday at the Sonoma-Marin Fair in northern California. Its owner, Ms Jeanenne Teed, had brought GUS all the way from Florida to compete fot the dubious distinction.After the excitement of the moment, Ms Teed said of her dog's reaction: "well, i think right now, it is ready for a nap" The Chinese crested breed is a popular choice in this annual contest with last years's champ, Elwood, a chinese crested and chihuahua mix. Gus' owner won US$500 and will be flown to New York to appear on CBS This Morning, with the event to be aired on the Animal Planet network in October.


Personal view: Even though people area willing to pay a higher price for a pure breed or a nicely coated dog, there are still people who are willing to breed a ugly looking one. Dog lovers has dedicated their time even to look after ugly looking dogs. From looking at the dedications this people would provide for the dog, it shows me that we can do something as long as we want to and has the heart to do it.
