The challenge Microsoft has when the founder departs is remembering its heart. At some point, the firm has to take the essence of what made Bill Gates successful and make sure that is preserved. Microsoft's Windows Vista operating system released in January last year has flopped with customers, many of whom are clinging to its predecessor Windows XP.

My Response:
Bill Gates is one of the most successful and the richest person in the world. Because he can make just few hundreds of dollars to become thousands of millions and billions by building one of the biggest company - Microsoft. Computers are now being more and more popular in today's society, if Bill Gates didn't invent the essential system software for each computer in the world. Then I can't imagine how the computer is working today. I mean he is so great. And last but not least, he is so generous, he has pledged to give his S$41 bilklion fortune to charity - rather than leaving it for his children. I think the spirit and thought that he has it's really kind. The charitable deeds that he does can help a lot of people who are suffering in drought,flood,any disasters or having problems to get education or healthcare. He is a really kindhearted man. Hope the money that he donated can help more people in the world.
