vivien ng - More poor Indonesians sending kids to orphanages

Summary:
Nowadays, children are being sent to the orphanages even both of their parents are still alive. The main reason of sending the children to the orphanages is that the parents are too poor to feed them or to even put them through school. It is mainly because of poverty. It is said that about 90% of the orphanages' parents are either both alive or either one or more parents alive. Fortunately,the kids will recieve free food and education. Also, the government has agreed to provide five years of fund for the orphanages.The problem of the inccrease of orphan are still increasing.

I totally feel sad for the kids. Even though they have free food and educations in the orphanages, what is the most important thing is still love. All kids need love. Even grown up people need love. Parents of the kids might have difficulties in supporting them but at least they must try before giving up them. These parents might not understand how their kids feel when they are all alone, living alone with many strangers and do things with strangers. the loneliness in them, they could not feel any love from anyone especially their parents. What kids need are simply a wonderful family and a good childhood. I hope the people around the world can do something about it.
